Part II – Business Letter
You just attended your local Chamber of Commerce meeting where you learned some exciting news! The Chamber told everyone that the county has dedicated a quarter acre of prime real estate for a Food Truck Court. Any food truck business owner who resides in the county can submit a letter of interest to the Chamber of Commerce. If they like your letter, they will ask you to submit a business proposal. But here’s the rub; there are over 25 food truck businesses in the county, and only five available spots in the food court. The location is high visibility and traffic, and the lease is affordable so you want this badly!
Your letter of interest must have these components:
Fits on one page
12-point Times font
Description of your food and brand
Reasons you’d be a valuable tenant (Unique brand, reviews, credit rating, your community involvement, etc)
Call to action
Your business letter will be graded on the following:
Proper grammar and spelling
Clear and concise message
Persuasiveness
