The Session Long Project (SLP) will focus on the development of Dissertation/DSP Prospectus. Each SLP will require you to draft and strengthen a component of the Prospectus.
SLP Assignment Expectations
Continue drafting chapters 1-3 of your Prospectus using the Dissertation/DSP Prospectus Template.
Continue drafting chapter 3, including the Research Methodology and Design, Population and Sample Selection, Data Collection, Data Analysis, Assumptions, Limitations, and Delimitations.Explain any ethical issues and how you will address those in the Ethical Assurances section of chapter 3. Include in this discussion a description of the Institutional Review Board approval process that you will need to complete as part of DSP 701 or DIS 702.Further develop your chapter 2. Note: by the end of module 2, chapter 2 should be at least 10 pages long. By module 4, chapter 2 should be at least 20 pages long. 50+ references are expected for the Dissertation/DSP proposal draft.

Topic – WWP programs
PROBLEM – It is unknown what factors of current Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) VA compensation benefit service programs influence its positive outcome on alumni members or how WWP can use those factors to increase the benefit of its programs on alumni members.
The problem to be addressed by this study is the significant lack of knowledge among military workers, retirees, and their family members regarding valuable programs offered by the WWP. The primary concern centers on the insufficient dissemination of information related to these programs.
PURPOSE – The purpose of this qualitative case study is to determine what factors of current Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Veterans compensation Benefit service programs influence its positive outcome on alumni members and how WWP can use those factors to increase the benefit of its programs on alumni members.
This study aims to significantly enhance awareness among military workers, retirees, and their families about the extensive capabilities and resources offered by the WWP.
It considers factors such va disability compensation claims, va education benefit, caregiving benefit, predischarge claims offered by the WWP.
Research Question 1 – What factors of current Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) VA compensation benefit service programs influence its positive outcomes on alumni members?.
Research Question 2- How can WWP use those factors to increase the benefit of its (VA) veterans compensation benefit service programs on alumni members?
Additional notes:
It is unknown what factors, keeping it qualitative and we are just asking the participates. Problem is not known, and purpose is to solve it.
My study has to answer the problem “here’s how to improve WWP veteran compensation benefit service program.” Or here’s how to improve the business? It Can’t be about how it impact the people or the clients.
How do we improve the business side of this program? how can we improve the program to ensure its maximum effectiveness. Is this program successful and how can we make that program better?

Qualitative Case Study
Three Sources of Data –
Questionnaire for Alumni. Asking the participated to discuss anything in their experience related to the va benefit compensation program.
Questionnaire for Program/WWP Leaders.
Possibly a Focus Group of WWP leaders as a strategy session to examine best practices and improvements needed.
If available – Could use survey results of alumni from WWP 2023 (secondary data) instead of creating your own questionnaire for alumni.
