STEP 1: RECALL
A Google Slides Presentation templateLinks to an external site. has been available since the 1st week of the Public Policy Project to assist you in preparing your presentation.
And hopefully you viewed, copied, and have been updating the template as you’ve progressed through the Analyst Workflows and Roundtables.
Now, it is time to complete your Public Policy Project presentation and submit it for evaluation by the Professor.
STEP 2: ENSURE ALL SLIDES COMPLETED
The PowerPoint Presentation gives you an opportunity to communicate your findings. Your PowerPoint Presentation should consist of the following slides:
Title Slide.
Public Problem.This slide is a derivative of the PPP – 01 Classroom Discussion of Public Problems, Causes, and Effectsand PPP – 02 My Public Problem.
Causes of Problem.This slide is a derivative of the PPP – 01 Classroom Discussion of Public Problems, Causes, and Effectsand PPP – 02 My Public Problem.
Effects of Problem.This slide is a derivative of the PPP – 01 Classroom Discussion of Public Problems, Causes, and Effectsand PPP – 02 My Public Problem.
Data Analyst Highlight.This slide is the result of completing the PPP – 03 Data Analyst Workflow and Roundtable.
GIS Analyst Highlight.This slide is the result of completing the PPP – 04 GIS Analyst Workflow and Roundtable.
Policy Analyst Highlight.This slide is the result of completing the PPP – 05 Policy Analyst Workflow and Roundtable.
Communications Analyst Highlight.This slide is the result of completing the PPP – 06 Communications Analyst Workflow and Roundtable.
Solutions to Problem.You will need to complete this slide, which is derived from the Analyst Workflows above.
Three-Bullet Point Reflection.You will need to complete this slide based on your experiences with the entire Public Policy Project.
You can use this slide to inform your PPP – 09 My Reflection submission.
Works Cited.This slide consists of citations from the Workflows above and other sources you used.
There is not a specific format (i.e. MLA, APA, etc.) that is required for the citations. A website link or simple citation is sufficient.
STEP 3: DOUBLE CHECK THAT ALL SLIDES ARE COMPLETE
Sometimes students miss including an element of the presentation. It’s helpful to spend some time double checking that you’ve completed all slides.
STEP 4: SUBMIT YOUR PRESENTATION
You have two options to submit your presentation: File Upload or Website URL.
