Choose one of the privacy laws (Privacy Act of 1974, FCRA, Electronic Communications Privacy Act, HIPAA, or Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and discuss the implication for an HRIS in protecting employee and employer information.
In responding to your peers, identify how each law may impact the performance of the HRIS. In other words, what information or features might users want in an HRIS that may or may not be available given what is noted in the privacy law identified.
