In Units 6 and 7, you learned how to complete basic annotations. In Units 8 and 9, you will learn how to complete expanded annotations. What makes expanded annotations different is that they emphasize synthesizing key ideas that you have discovered in your literature sources.
Within the Discussion Board (DB) area, focus on the following in 500–700 words:
Compose an explanation of what the concept literature synthesis means.
Defend the role of literature synthesis in research and why is it important for scholar-practitioners to master.
Elaborate for your colleagues your appraisal of how literature synthesis pertains to your use of source materials that will be integral to your dissertation study.
